No I haven't mate, the back end of the top guide is just short enough so it don't catch the stay. I've adjusted the chain device since this pic was taken cos I thought it might rub, but all gd so far

It feels great, I'm 5ft 8" nd its perfect for me. The top tube is shorter on the 2011 demos than the 2010 frames. Nd yeah the rear swing arm is quite short. But thats not a bad thing, keeps the frame tidy, and is a massive improvement over my 2006 demo.

Yeah u should head up there mate, I don't go very often but it makes a change from the usual stomping ground. Will miss the old bike tho, has served me well.

Its a DMR Expert saddle that I robbed off my jump bike until I get some more £££ to buy a better one. Looking at SDG saddles cos they seem to be pretty good. Just took a gander at ur frame pics mate, thats goin to look sick when its fininshed!

Yeah I took it up to Rogate outside Petersfield at the weekend, nd its had a few runs in the local woods round Southampton too. Rides so much better than my older Demo. |

Cheers guys....Ant, yeah it is close, now I looked. I wanted to make it unique as much as poss but it looks like every other flow yellow demo out there haha. The brakes I robbed off my old bike, but all the other stuff is new. I took your recommendations for the tyres tho nd they work sweet! Couldn't be bothered with Maxxis. I chose 721's as they seem to be the rim of choice at the mo nd the hope hubs are tough but good price

Kewl, cheers for that. I'll keep an eye out for these PF30 bb's. In the mean time i've spoken to Spesh UK who will replace these adaptors if I have any probs with them. I've been hearing people having issues with fitting the back wheel, something to do with the hub. What hubs are you running? Did you have any problems putting the back wheel on?

This is sorta weird because you have a similar setup to what my new Demo will be like
same colour frame, black boxxers, raceface cranks.....lovin' the bike mate. Are you running an 83mm raceface BB or are you using the adaptor spesh supply? |
